QMS-style document control: versioned procedures and work instructions, controlled distribution, and a read-only view for the shop floor.

Problem

Quality documents — procedures, work instructions, forms — circulated as email attachments; obsolete versions kept resurfacing at workstations.

Solution

A controlled repository with versioning and supersession, owner-gated publishing, and a separate distribution view that only ever serves the released revision. Work instructions and SOPs are maintained in the same controlled flow.

Impact

Audits stopped finding stale documents in circulation; publishing a revision takes minutes and retires the old one everywhere at once.
